DIVISION 01 / ROPEWAY & CABLE TRANSPORT

Move people across terrain that defeats roads.

Aerial cable cars, gondolas, funiculars and urban ropeways, specified, supplied, installed and serviced for resorts, tourism destinations and city transit authorities.

OVERVIEW

Cable transport is the most efficient way to cross a valley, a ridge or a congested city.

A ropeway carries thousands of passengers per hour over obstacles that would take a road or rail line years and fortunes to bridge. It is also, by definition, a system that suspends people in the air, so the gap between a good machine and a safe, reliable, beautifully integrated installation is enormous.

Altivus closes that gap. We bring manufacturer-grade engineering to selection, alignment, station integration and commissioning, then stay on to keep the line running for its full service life.
